September has been a pretty good month for me, so I thought I would briefly move away from travel-related posts (although travel does feature in my list, obviously!) and share my highlights of this month with you…
The National Geographic Traveller Festival – 17 September 2017
If you are into travel, this was the event to attend in September. It was National Geographic Traveller magazine brought to life! Lots of inspiring talks and masterclasses as well as flamenco displays, wine tasting and so much more… to find out more, check out my post here: Review of the National Geographic Traveller Festival 2017
It is now officially acceptable to go into a café and ask for a hot chocolate topped with whipped cream – yay! I did it for the first time this week and it was soooo good!
The Start of Autumn
The leaves are turning orange and brown and mornings are getting crisper… it’s such a pretty time of year. As a keen photographer I love the colours of Autumn and who doesn’t love crunching through fallen leaves?
Boots and Jumpers Return!
Whilst I love summer, I’m always happy to dig out my warm boots and cosy jumpers ready for the colder Autumn days…
The Countdown to Christmas Begins…
Summer is only just over and the shops are already gearing up for Christmas! I love Christmas so this is the start of the excitement for me. It’s funny how your passion for Christmas is reignited once you have children… for a while I had lost interest, but now I love it more than ever!
So, September is now almost over and it’s time for one of my favourite months of the year… October!
