As we are now half way through 2018, I decided to have a look through the photos I’ve taken so far this year… and these are some of my favourites:
I love this photo of my family lighting my birthday cake together – it was a job to light 46 candles quickly I can tell you!!
We visited Leicester Cathedral to see the tomb of the recently discovered Richard III…. I’d never been in before and it was lovely (as was the Richard III exhibition housed next door)!
We’ve eaten some delicious food this year so far… I loved these tasty tacos!
We live walking distance from the canal basin in Market Harborough and often pop down there for a walk or to have something to eat… it’s such a pleasant place and we’re very lucky to have it so close!
One of the highlights of this year so far was definitely Download Festival 2018 (you can read more about it here: Review: Download Festival 2018)… it was great fun!
I love an afternoon tea – what more is there to say! We had a delicious one at the Aqua Sana Spa in Sherwood Forest earlier this month…
One of my favourite trips this year was to Winchester, Hampshire to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary… it’s such a lovely city and we stayed at the beautiful country house hotel where we held our wedding reception (read more about it: 24 Hours in Winchester, Hampshire).
So these are some of my favourite photos of the year to date… they are not necessarily my best photos but I chose them simply because they represent some of the highlights of my 2018 so far.
How has your year been so far – what have been your highlights?
Happy Travelling (and Snapping!)!
