Fun with Photos: Canvases

When Tesco Photo contacted me and asked if I would be interested in creating a Canvas Print, I was delighted… I have so many photos I want to display that I am always looking for ways to make use of them!  I decided that a photo collage of some of my latest travel snaps was definitely the way to go…

So I chose to do the Gallery Collage Canvas (30×20″). And it was just SO EASY to create my canvas online – the only difficult bit was choosing which of my thousands of photos I should use!! Within about 15 minutes I had uploaded 14 of my favourite images and arranged them in a way that I was happy with.

The timeframe for delivery was given as 8 days, but you could also collect your order on the same day if you lived near a Tesco Store which offered this service (which most of the bigger stores do). As I live in a small town, it was easier for me to get my canvas delivered (and delivery was free with the option I chose in any case).

But actually, my canvas arrived within only 3 days of me placing the order, which was brilliant. It felt like Christmas when a large, brown box was delivered and I was very excited to open it up and see my canvas…

It felt a bit like Christmas!

And I was not disappointed – the quality of the printing was fantastic… the images were all sharp and the colours were vibrant and true to the originals.

It’s certainly going to make a great feature on my living room wall… reminding us every day of some of our fantastic family holidays! I chose to use travel photos as travel is one of my passions, but you could use it to display any photos you want. I think maybe I’ll do a family collage next time…

I was really impressed with both the service and the quality of the photo canvas – I will definitely be doing another one with Tesco Photo very soon! So if you have lots of photos sitting around on your laptop, why not make use of them and turn them into an eye-catching photo canvas?

  1. A) how cool that Tesco offers this! b) I’ve ordered canvas prints of photos before, but never had the option to make a canvas photo collage – I wonder if any of the photo services near us in the States will do something like this? Will have to look for this option next time I go to order prints!

    1. I know, it’s great isn’t it! I’m sure you will find somewhere near you that offers a similar service… it’s a great way of displaying multiple images.

  2. I love canvas prints! They make such unique and personal gifts, and these look amazing since the quality is great and the colours are vibrant!

  3. That’s a gorgeous canvas! I have two canvas prints on my wall, one of each of my son’s newborn photos. They are an easy way to make a great statement for beloved photos.

    1. Definitely going to create some more – although I will need to find more wall space! The large collage canvas is £47 including delivery, which I think is pretty good considering the size of it and the quality!

  4. My husband and I have traveled extensively and don’t have any of the photos around the house. This would be a great way to fix that!

  5. Oh I love this! I am actually looking for something of a large scale to do going upstairs (we have 25ft ceilings there so I NEED something to make a statement)! I am bookmarking this to show to my hubby!
